Step 3: Make Plans for Accommodations

You won’t be worrying about where you spend each night if you will be traveling by barge, river boat or cruise ship. However, you may still need to make sleeping arrangements for a night or two prior to boarding and after disembarking.

Similarly, you need not explore other options if you plan to travel in a road vehicle or train that contains sleeping accommodations. Otherwise, you’ll need to determine where you’ll spend your nights.
